Conrad Hermann Louis Schuette (1843-1926) was a German-American Lutheran minister, hymn writer, and hymn translator.  He also served as the President of the Evangelical Lutheran Joint Synod of Ohio and Other States from 1894 to 1924 and of the National Lutheran Council from 1923 to 1925.
