Original German Text (1734) by Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf (1700-1760)

English Translation (1808)

Hymn Source = Hymnal and Liturgies of the Moravian Church (Unitas Fratrum) (1923)

Let Thy presence go with me,

Saviour, else I dare not move;

With Thy aid, and led by Thee,

I will go, constrained by love;

Serve Thy cause with al my might,

Deeming every burden light;

And, if favored with success,

To Thee render all the praise.
