Johann (or Johan) Olaf (or Olof) Wallin (1779-1839) was a Swedish Lutheran hymn writer and a prelate.  He was, in fact, a towering figure in Swedish hymnody.


O Bride of Christ, Rejoice:

We Worship Thee, Almighty Lord:

Behold the Joyful Day is Nigh:

Thine Agony, O Lord, is O’er:

Strike Up, O Harp and Psaltery:

Heavenly Light, Benignly Beaming:

Guardian of Pure Hearts:
