The cost of following your way is everything, isn’t it?

No cheap grace, though I would love to have found it.

Your cross that brings eternal life is

a stake in the heart of everything my sinful self holds dear.

You are uncompromising in your commandment

to be in communion with everyone.

Help me, without your aid I cannot possibly swim in the open sea of your love.
