From Novenas: Prayers of Intercession and Devotion, edited by William G. Storey (Chicago: Loyola Press, 2005), pages 201-202:
Compassionate and merciful God,
by grace you live in our inmost being
and stand by us in every difficulty.
(Here we state our needs.)
By the prayers of the great Mother of God
and of the whole company of heaven,
calm our troubled hearts,
and have us put our trust in you.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
AMEN.
May the Lord + direct our hearts in the love of God and the patience of Christ.
AMEN.
