We come into your courts with praise, O God, and sing in glad adoration.  You fill the temple with your majestic presence; we bow in awe at the sight of your holiness.  Your goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life, as in Christ we shall dwell in your house forever.

God of righteousness, truth, and justice, who did judge your people according to the statues delivered to Moses, we praise you for the mercy of Christ’s intercession.  In Christ’s name we gather and are assured of your presence; we bow in adoration; we sing of your glory; your word is proclaimed for our guidance and nurture.  Look now with favor on our worship, as in Christ we seek to be faithful.

You are worthy of all praise, O God; your judgment is sure.  Like a refiner’s fire, you purify your people and temper their desires.  The heat is your love for them; the flame is the Spirit’s power within; the light is the light which illumines the world.  Come, fire from above, and fill our beings, as we worship and adore our maker.

O God of our salvation, with dread deeds you answer us with deliverance; you are the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas.  By your strength you establish the mountains and still the waters.  You calm the troubled breasts of all who put their trust in you.  We shall not cease to give you praise and bless your holy name.
